Pasolini's "Comizi D'Amore," an interesting documentary from

1964. PPP takes his camera to the streets and beaches throughout Italy (including Calabria and Sicily) and randomly asks passersby their views on sex, i.e. premarital sex, gender equality, virginity, prostitution.
A very entertaining snapshot of post-war Italy.
What surprised me most was the forthrightness of the Italian women, even in the most backward areas of Calabria, where even then women could not speak in public to men other than close family members or walk through town unescorted.
For lovers of beautiful women: there is one stunning creature on a beach, clothed in the most revealing of bikinis, who speaks coyly about the ineffectiveness of marriage.
If you love Italian films such as Divorce Italian Style, this film is a must.
Netflix is the only place I've seen it.
