This is a sort of "Friends" in medical school. Seven third year students vie and compete for honors in various medical disciplines over the course of a year. They make mistakes, score victories, and have rivalries and affairs. The two names are Jimmy Smits, who plays the chief surgeon, and 25 year old Diane Lane, who I think is miscast as she looks older than the the others, is drsses differently tha the other women, and just doesn't seem to fit in with the group (and I LOVE Diane Lane). Ok, but more like a TV movie (maybe it was, I don't know).
