I saw this film at a 12 hour "Schlock Around The Clock" bad movie marathon in Columbus, and it was clearly the best film in the bunch, which ain't saying much with competition like "Wrestling Women Vs. Aztec Ape" and "Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS". Tom Ewell and Jayne Mansfield star in a comedy about pop music and "payola", but the real treat is performances by Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, The Platters, Julie London, and an insanely manic accordion-led rock group called The Chuckles. And just wait until you hear "Rock Around The Rockpile".
