Alien Revisited: Attn. Mike K

204.196.180.219

Alien is one of the great alltime sci-fi horror flicks; the baby alien
popout scene is a classic, I was watching it in the moviehouse, when the
baby popped out, a guy sitting directly behind me, jumped and screamed, with foot hitting the top of my chair, that scared me almost as much as
the darned scene!
The only thing that worked against the movie was the slow pace; Aliens was
good too, didn't have the build-up suspense, but compensated by lots of
action.
I read the Alien novel, didn't like it as much as the movie, Foster didn't
convey a clear image of the alien to me, thought it was rather muddled.
Didn't like Alien 3 at all; Resurrection was OK, better than I expected.
I like the orginal movie, The Thing (From Another World) a lot more than
Carpenter's remake, in spite of the remakes superior special effects.
