"Uno Bianca": Made for t.v. but meaty enough for big screen

Three hours and twenty minutes of Italian crime. Not as bad as it sounds. This story is scripted from a book about a true case made compelling by excellent writing, fast paced editing, and reasonably good acting.

Banks and other public places are held-up by a gang that operates with near military precision that has a proclivity to kill or maim over little to no provocation and who insist on using white Fiat Uno's. Enter our two protagonists who are assigned to the case and fight an uphill battle against their own judicial system and a platoon of crooked cops.

"Uno" is broken into two 1:40 disks and flows well without the obivious story breaks for commercials we often see in our "made for's". Not sure about the actors but the director is somewhat well know in Italy and did a great job considering budget.

If you have a lot of time to kill this is not a bad way to do it.
