Colorization?

209.249.4.178

Usually I'm against any classic movie that has been doctored. However, last night I watched one of my all time favorites "The Four Feathers" that had been colorized, and for the first time the movie came alive. What was once a highly interesting tale of one mans battle to overcome cowardice, suddenly became the 1939 version of "Lawrence of Arabia." The sweeping vistas of the African plains and the Nile, though filmed over 60 years ago, were nonetheless breathtaking. It makes me wonder just how many "Epics" of times past suffered visual impairment by being restricted to black & white.
