You are right about the perfection (or near) of Bladerunner. From what Iv'e seen, a good gripping film does not need a convoluted script. My favorite films are fairly straight forward in story line and easy to understand.I haven't seen Promethius yet but plan to. I expect it to be a mind twister but I'm planning to just go for the ride and see what happens.
