This nearly two-hour documentary uses a mixed media approach to keep your attention focused on the Khodorkovsky/Yukos Affair. Through inside contacts and wheeler-dealer methods Khodorkovsky became the youngest multi-billionare on the planet. He was nearly the ordained Godfather or the oligarchs before forty and before getting on Putin's last nerve which was in the film.

This was an compelling and entertaining work with all the interviews from former government and Yukos executives inter-cut stark illustrations and spatial views of Siberia which is now his prison home.

Khodorkovsky is somewhat of an oddity in that Russians are taught he was a bad man yet naive enough to come home knowing what was about to happen to him making him something of an oligarch martyr.

I am completely neutral to the affairs of Russia's interior but I must say this documentary (which opens like a film) definitely leans in favor of the man still imprisoned in Siberia.

(Maybe he and Pussy Riot are partying?)
