Abraham's comments apply to mine, including the cost savings if you shop around. I have the PRO-610HD.One note just so you know...and this isn't specific to Pioneer. The rear projection TV do "halo" which is inherent to the design. It's rarely distracting, but every now and then it is.
Also, color and contrast can be improved by lining the inside with Duvetyne. An easy tweak, but something to research if you're looking for "ultimate" performance. It absorbs reflected light inside the box better than the black paint...keeping colors from being as washed out. Even stock, the unit is excellent. I've had mine for a little more than a year. Oh, and I never installed the protective screen as it is very reflective...and I don't have kids.
