Actually, might be okay

Since people like to see computer output with clean-edged pixels, the bandwidth might be sufficient to do a decent job with the 720 samples per scanline, of DVD. I'd say it's definitely worth trying.

If you can, get a disc like Video Essentials, and use their resolution test pattern to see how much you get. Also, the other tests could be worth going through, but projectors can be time-consuming and tricky to calibrate.
