My HT room is on the first floor of the house. I ran PVC conduit from the wall behind the TV, underneath the floor, and coming out at each rear side wall where the rear surrounds go. This allows extreme flexibility for changing wires, etc. The ends of each duct are finished off with a solid faceplate with a hole drilled in the middle for the wire.
