under $2k processor - Rotel 1066?

hi everyone,
looking for surround preamp recommendations under $2k, but the market seems to be concentrated at the higher price points. right now i'm looking at the Rotel 1066. any other suggestions? i'm just looking for basic DD/DTS, nothing too fancy... preferrably with good quality analog pass-thru as well (for SACD).
