More Lumens or better Contrast ratio?

I am looking at Infocus LP530 which has 2000 Lumens but the Contrast ration of 400:1.
The other one is Infocus Model X1, which is 1000 Lumens but has a Contrast ration of 2000:1.
I understand the Lumens part but trying to decypher other specs is beyond me. What are the things one should be looking for?
Projector to screen distance will be about 13 ft. in a fairly dark room.
