improve my television picture quality. I recently learned about macrovision and was curious to the effect for normal playback. I have a newer model Pioneer Elite dvd player which is connected directly to the television via S-video cable. The search is to find various tweaks to improve picture quality and with no interest in duplicating dvds. Steps have been taken so far by conditioning power and using high quality cables in the quest for the best possible picture.
