Have you tried Trusurround?A step back from DV-440

I suppose if you have a 5.1 system you probably haven't, but I get the impression that it doesn't work as well on the DV-45 as it did on the DV-440. It recesses the centered dialog so much that even DRC doesn't bring it back. It seems to add a lot of echo that the DV-440 Trusurround didn't.

The DV-440 with Trusurround and DRC on sounds great on nearly everything. The DV-45A now sounds like the CLD-D604 Cinema III mode, and that isn't good. Maybe they've changed the circuit(or maybe something's defective)?

The CD playback is terrific, and plain 2-channel is OK on DVD's.
