Re: Yamaha RX-V1200.

You could probably get the RX-V1300 for around the same price and get 20 more watts per channel to boot. But I agree with Hepcat on the Yamaha`s quality sound both in music and hometheater and with plenty of extras to keep you happy. Myself, I own the HTR-5490, the twin of the RX-V1200 but without the pre-outs and the IEC terminal. But then again, I paid $574 and the receiver had only been available for 2 months. I did just do an IEC installation tho and hooked up a VenHaus flavor 3 power cord that makes my Yamaha sing soprano. Highly recommended! Regards, Robin
