Which DVD to buy. Pioneer dv37 or Denon dvd1600

I have the ability to purchase either the Pioneer dv-37 or Denon dvd-1600 at around the same price, but I am not sure which one to go with.
I am leaning towards the Denon due to the reviews that I have read. Please advise.
