Re: DVD-SACD that can decode Dolby dig toslink?

Might be best to pick out the best DVD/SACD player you can buy (disregarding the above requirement) and add an inexpensive H.T. pre/pro or receiver with pre-outs. Then you will also have video switching.

I am using a Sony DVD/SACD player with internal decoding, along with a Sony TAP 6 channel preamp. But I still use an older prologic pre/pro for the video (and other A/V sources).

I plan to upgrade the Pre/pro later to have better/more decoding options.
