I'd tend to agree with Dalencroft. I own a 29" 4:3 TV, & when I look at movies in widescreen, especially the more extreme examples like Lord Of The Rings, I loose more than 50% of the screen! & I sit about 6-7 feet away. I know that one can buy DVD's adapted for 4:3 TV, but I wouldn't recommend them - you loose to much that way, movie wise. Isn't there any affordable, smaller 16:9 TV's on the market? That would be a better choise if your main priority is watching movies, IMO.Just my two cents :-)
