Just had my first encounter with this beast. It is on display at Sears. The first impression was a real surprise, as it greatly exceeded my expectations. First, the SOUND! I could hardly believe it. I made the staff mute or turn off every TV on display in Electronics. I then had an almost empty store (early AM) and no distractions. When hooked up to the HDTV signal, it just blew me away. The bass response was fantastic with the built in subwoofer. I am totally hooked, and ordered one of course!!!!!! ( I really wish they were in stock so I could take one home, but can understand why it isn't being so new )Now I am eagerly awaiting my new entertainment centerpiece, and I am ordering the matching stand for it. Does anyone know if you can just remove the 3 glass shelves in the middle of the stand?
