Re: Front Projector for everyday viewing?

I'm in the same boat as my vintage RPTV is showing serious convergence issues (e.g. blue shadowy effect). While tolerable for routine CNN watching, it's no longer viable for serious movie watching. I'm looking real hard at an DLP HD2 projector with electric screen. Ambient light issues (e.g. lots of windows' I've heavy curtains but....) probably inhibit much daytime viewing in my case but this will depend on how bright the projector is.

Eventually, I plan on adding "reasonably-priced" 65"+ plasma display for daytime viewing but such may not exist for a couple of years. In the meantime, I plan to use the RPTV (blue wavy lines and all) for most daytime viewing.

Waiting for Joe Murphy Jr to provide a link to the AVS forum :)
