Cleaning a plasma tv screen

Does anyone know if the front of the screen on a plasma is regular glass, something other than glass, or galss treated in some fashion I don't understand.

We just purchased a new Gateway plasma. The manual says not to use solvent based anything to clean the screen, (I assume they mean Windex glass cleaner). I asked the people at the Gateway store, and on their 800 support - well you can figure what the answer was. That's why I'm typing this here...

I purchased a Monster "big screen" cleaning kit, but am afraid to use it. It comes with a nice cloth and bottle of juice. The juice contents say it is basically water with a "polimer". I tried it on a small outside edge of the screen and stopped. It seems to simply be a wax. ??? I don't want to wax the screen... I am currently only using straight water and a smooth cloth to keep it clean.

How do others clean their plasma screens, and do I need to be careful in anyway cleaning our screen?

Thanks, in advance, for any help offered.
