For lack of a better term, this is what I'd call it. I've noticed on DVDs of some color films from the 40s and 50s that the color seems to shift from warmer to cooler, then back every few seconds. Does anyone know what causes this? The films I've seen it on were restored (I think) and I wondered if it was an artifact of the restoration.
