How does the Toshiba get the "TV" signal?

Is it via the coax (RF) input from an over-the-air (OTA) antenna, cable box or satellite box?

My guess is that it could either be the demodulator in the Toshiba if you're using any of these three sources or it could be the modulator in the cable box or the satellite box if you're using one of these two sources.

If you have a recorder before the Toshiba's coax (RF) input, you'd then have to consider its demodulator and modulator as possible culprits.
