Sunfire Sub problem

Hey all, this is my first post and from the forum names, this seems like the best place for my issue.

Anyway, I recently moved from an apartment to house and after setting up my home theater system, my Sunfire Junior Sub doesn't seem to be working any longer. It's connected to a Denon 3802 via the subwoofer pre-out with a Monster subwoofer cable to the left "line-level" input on the subwoofer. The light is on, indicating the subwoofer is on, but the bass/sound coming out of it is so minimal I can barely tell it's doing anything.

These are the things I have tried/checked -
1) I reinited the microprocessor on the Denon 3802 and reconfigured everything.
2) On the Denon 3802, the sub is set to 'Yes', the crossover freq is 80Hz, and the sub level is set to zero db. When sending the test signals to the speakers, the sub makes no sound. I've tried turning the level up to 10db, but no change is evident. For the Dolby Dig and DTS soundtracks, the sub level is set to zero db and -10 db respectively.
3) I've ensured that the signal flow of the subwoofer cable is in the proper direction, I've tried a different sub cable, and I tried using the "front channel" pre-amp outs on the receiver...still no workee.
4) On the subwoofer I've tried all the level/crossover/phase knobs, and none seem to make a difference. I tried using the speaker cable input on the sub and I heard sound coming from it, but it was very minimal.

This leads me to believe that it's the subwoofer that all of a sudden went bad while it was being moved, but I took great care in moving it myself, double boxed. I am going to bring a friend's subwoofer over tomorrow to see if his works, to rule out the A/V/ receiver pre-outs.

Does anyone else have suggestions of what to try or has anyone seen something similar?

Thanks!

Later,
