Small(ish) LCD Televisions?

I'm considering a small LCD TV for the bedroom. Something in the 20" to 23" range, probably a widescreen. Any recommendations? They seem to be available everywhere these days - from Walmart to BestBuy to Dell.

What peripherals might I be adding to an "HD ready" LCD TV in order to only have DVD playback? I've no interest in cable or over the air television broadcasts.
