How can my Sharp XV-Z90 DLP monitor my MAC G5 in 16:9 HDTV ?

Unlike the 'U' ( U.S. ) version, my XV-Z90 DLP projector is the Japanese version ( I got a bargain on eBay ) which only has Component Video connectors on its ( single ) HD-capable input.

My Mac G-5 has a DVI connector, which works OK with a ( Apple -supplied ) VGA adaptor.

The problem is that the VGA input channel on my projector has ( of course ) limited resolution and only projects a rectangular screen ( the Apple DVI-to-S-video adaptor works too..but the picture is really bad ).

I bought an " A.T.I. DVI-to-HDTV " adaptor, but the video cards available/compatible with Mac ( including A.T.I.'s ) don't support it.

Does anyone know of a way around this ? Apple and Sharp have not been very responsive.

Thanks
Kerry Brown
