Monarchy SM-70s for Home Theater?

Does anyone have experience using Monarchy SM-70s for Home Theater?
I envision a 5.1 system with 3 monarchy SM-70s driving the 3 front and 2 surround speakers. I would use the extra channel to drive the subwoofer. Even though its only 25-30 watts I think the sound quality would blow away any 5 channel amp. Also, one channel of the Monarchy on the subwoofer should sound far superior to a 250 watt plate amp. I have never heard a plate amp that wasn't blown out of the water by using a regular amplifier for subwoofer duties.
