JBL L112's for Home Theater?

I'm setting up a home theater. I have a pair of L112's in perfect shape (bought new eons ago and reconed once, not really played since). I thought it would be nice to use these pricey puppies to save some $$ on getting new ones, but didn't know if they'd work or not. Everything points to the center channel needing to match the L/R's. They wouldn't be practical to use as rears (prefer smaller satellite speakers there).
Any input or advice appreciated.
