Samsung DLP Audio/Video Sync issue

Just purchased a Samsung HLP4663 DLP set. Popped in my first dvd to test the set and sure enough, the video lagged behind the audio. I have read in the avs forum that a number of people have experienced video lagging behind audio when watching certain cable channels or certain shows. Sometimes the lag will occur when watching DVD's. The lag is speratic and seemes to be at its worst while watching live programs on NBC. I was able to correct most of the lag while watching dvd's by making sure the plaver was in progressive scan mode. I also understand Samsung has a fix for this. Before I call in service, has anyone experienced this? Did you call service? Did they fix it? What did they replace? Is everthing ok now?
