S-video outs on Marantz SR4200

I recently bought a Marantz SR4200 but have since found that it does not meet my requirements. I need to have s-video outputs for both a TV and projector. The SR4200 has 2 s-video outs, one is the Monitor out and the other is labelled VCR1. I have found that the Monitor out works for all (s-video) inputs, but the VCR1 s-video out, which I had tried connecting the projector to, has no signal when the input is on the VCR1 s-video input. (I guess this makes sense in that you would not want an output to the same device that you were using as the input.)
So, I was thinking of upgrading to the SR6200, which has 3 s-video outs. But, before I do this I want to make sure that if I connect the projector to the 3rd s-video out (DSS/VCR2), then it will work when the source is one of the other two inputs. (I could of course use the composite ins and outs but I can really see the quality improvement when using s-video instead.
Does anyone know if the SR6200 will do the job or is there some other approach?
