Good to hear some positive feedback. I expected it would be a decent unit that should fall in line with their fairly solid rep. I, at one point, owned one of their Dacmagic DAC's and found it to be a very nice piece and an outstanding value given what I paid for it.

I know what you mean about pandering to the Circuit City, et. al. retailers. Always a good thing to support locally owned businesses. I recently stopped in to an ABC Warehouse (in most respects, even more dismal than a Circuit City) to look for an inexpensive VCR and I felt like I should don an overcoat with shades and wide-brimmed hat to hide my face, lest I be seen by the 'audiophile police'...almost feeling like a small town schoolteacher furtively venturing into the local porn shop.

Good chance I'll pick up on one of those Cambridge Audio players in the near future.
