I have a deguassing tool, it's just basically a large loop of wire that is enclosed in a plastic holder, about 16" in diameter. it has a a/c cord with a snap off switch in line. Cost about $40USd, back when I bought it. Works great, and they pay for themself the first time you use it. Try a indepedent electronics store after trying the other suggestions if you need one.
