I have a Marantz DV7000. It's actually quite good compared on pic and sound quality next to my Muse 9 sig. Marantz $799 list Muse $4,500. I've also checked the Marantz to a Sony 9000es. Pic quality was about the same. I'm seriously thinking about selling my muse, using the Marantz as DVD front end and getting a SACD. It's that close.
