Hi Mfm,

It would be a shame to cross over your full range Cantons at 80hz instead of running them full range - the lower bass detail and coherency would be lost. I'm not certain about the crossover match between the X-30 35hz LPF and the full range Cantons (maybe you could tweak the X-30 RC circuit if necessary). However, the X-30 sound is very clean, with virtually no noise, and relatively speaking it's quite cheap.
