Re: Pre/pro newbee needs advice...HELP!!

Hooking up a Pre/Pro isn't radically different from hooking up
a receiver.

All of the connections currently going into your receiver go into
your pre/pro. The subwoofer output goes to the sub. The main channel
outs goto the amp(s). Your speaker outs will move to the amp(s).

In terms of hookup, you'll definitely notice the 5 extra RCA cables
between the pre/pro and amp(s).

If you purchase the right pre/pro and the right 5 channel amp, you
can use a DB-25 between the pre/pro and the amp so that there is only
1 cable between them, much neater.

I've never tested DB-25 from the pre/pro to the amp because my pre/pro
doesn't have that output option, and I have 3 amps, not a single
multi-channel amp.

Hope this helps.
