resonably price DD/DTS decoders

I am looking for a resonably priced DD/DTS decoder to connect to my Harman Kardon AVR-80 receiver and Toshiba SD-2109. I am looking to spend at most $600. I know about the Technics, but wondering if there is anything better available. Any one know of any available.
