Outlaw 1050, something doesn't add up

207.205.175.117

I was starting to think that the Outlaw 1050 would be a good option for a pre/pro until I came across some info on their website today. The thing that originally attracted me to the Outlaw was it being a 6.1 receiver. Although I still have questions whether that makes it compatable with the new surround ex dvd movies or not(being that it uses 8 channels), the big question I now have is why there is only 6 inputs for future formats when it is a 7 channel receiver. Why not 7, or even 8? Am I missing the big picture here or is this just one reason why this receiver is so affordably priced?
