How do I make my player output 5.1 Dolby digital?

I am trying to make my player to output 5.1 Dolby but there is nothing in the menu to be able to do this. Under the menu,there
are only jump to scene, Language, subtitles, When I go the the language , there are no listing as to be able to make it output at
5.1. When I display the output, it is by default 2 channel dolby digital. This dvd is the End of Days. Other dvds gives me a
choice. How can make the player shift to 5.1 dolby. TIA
