You might try getting ahold of an old issue of Widescreen Review (about a year ago, I think, but you'll have to search for it unless someone else remembers the issue) that reviewed video cables among other things. The long and short of it was that the monster cables came out very well compared with other, more expensive, brands. There is some suspicion by some people because the tester was Joel Kane who heads the ISF but also does a lot of consulting with Monster. Personally, I think that his integrity is high and the results are valid.

Personally, I use the Monster 1000silver series component and I've had no complaints or problems with it. It is a bit more expensive than some others, but I think that the quality is very good. The Harmonic Tech. is also quite good as far as I'm concerned. Whatever you decide, don't skimp on the cable because it is really the bloodstream of the system.
