I will check out those cables and will also take your advice re the sub. I had the (mis) fortune to hear a couple of subs today from the cheaper end of the scale during my lunch break and you are right - I could imagine how all the buzzes and boominess would definitely not compliment the 805's. I will start saving for that M&K or the second hand 800ASW.
