The First Annual Asyla-Thon will come to
a close during the first week in September.
Barring any MAJOR gifts over the next few days,
we will not make our original goal. Even so,
170 of the 2,331 registered inmates have helped
us to get more than half the way there!
We believe this represents a significant success
and feel blessed to have received support from so
many of you.
Still, it's not too late to get committed. Look here
to learn more about the very real needs of the Asylum
and how they relate to the Asyl-a-Thon.
What's next?
As we mentioned earlier this year, another
event is on the horizon. For those of you
who are so inclined, we look forward to your
support of the First Annual Audio Asylum
Auction (FAAA).Stay tuned for details, and in
the meantime, please start thinking about items
you'd be willing to contribute to the cause. Don't
hedge ... you know you got stuff you ain't using
which someone could benefit from (and help the
Asylum at the same time), no?
Thanks to Muzikmike and other for keeping this
idea alive ... could be very interesting ...
I wonder just how much someone would pay for the privildge of severing one of my cables ;_)
