Hi video loonies,
I am one of the poor schmoes who bought a
Projectavision (I had a Solo-2).
I *loved* the Projectavision - really great
picture (2-chip DLP). Of course, the unit
broke, and the company is out of business,
so I'm SOL.
I bought a DreamVision DL500 to replace the
Projectavision. It's a little loud, but
the picture is at least as good if not
better than the Projectavision. I tried a
bunch of LCDs and hated all of them. I
would definitely recommend the DreamVision.
Does anyone know any use for an old broken
Projectavision (except as boat anchor)? Is
there anyone actually fixing these things,
or scavenging parts from old units? I
suppose I could always post it on eBay...
...any suggestions appreciated.
