1. That the centre speaker matched in sonically with the stereo pair. The sealed or vented bit would be irrelevant, it is the midrange you would need to match carefully to avoid wierd effects - lots of postings about this, use the AA search engine. One test could be to borrow an ACI Emerald and replace one of your VA Bach units & judge how well they matched on stereo sound.
2. The magnet of the speaker was not so close to the CRT TV tube that magnetic interference occurred.
