I'm ready for my first foray into HT after 30 years of high-end stereo;and I badly need advice.I have no local dealer at which to listen for comparisons.Here are some of the items I am considering(mostly due to varios reviews).

I have a medium size room.I'd like to have decent stereo for CDs.I will rarely use DVDs,but am getting a Samsung 709 for CD/DVD.I mostly watch satellite(12' dish-great signall) and listen to music.I am by no means limiting myself to the above and am open to suggetions.ANY advice or recommendations will be greatly appreciated!!
