Recomendation for AV receiver for 2 channel music!

Hi Guy, I'm currently using Onkyo 575 but would like to upgrade to a better AV receiver that are more capable in 2 ch stereo reproduction.
I do not want to go into seperate component. I prefer convenient but without sacrifiying sound quality.
Highest budget is $3000, any recommendation in any price range would be appreciated
