? about Kimber Digital I/C

I'm looking at the Kimber Digital X to hook up my dvd player but am concerned that it's unshielded. Kimber says that their braid rejects RF/EMI interferance but I want to hear from some inmates who have actually used their digital i/c's. Should I even be concerned about this?
