Uninteruptable Power Supply (UPS) use for a Digital reciever

I have a APC UPS 450 available for use with my Denon AVR3300 Reciever. The UPS says that they dont recommend using it with equipment that have ferroresonant transformers. I do not know if the Denon has that type of transformer.
QUESTION1: Will I gain anything by using the UPS connected soley to the Denon AVR3300?
QUESTION2: Does anyone know if the Denon AVR3300 has a ferroresonant transformer?
