Re: 27" or 32" HDTV?

I have a very similar space constraint and can suggest two solutions that fit the bill in W and H but are a little deeper. I just bought a Panasonic 32" Tau HDTV model CT-32HK40. Its width is 31.5" X 26" H and maybe 21" deep. The width was my biggest worry because my cabinet was limited in that dimension to 33", and so I am very sure about the width dimension. This HDTV is a 4:3 aspect ratio but displays 16:9 fine. I think Princeton Graphics also has a model close to the size you need, but is a 30" tube at a 16:9 ratio. Don't have that information, but look it up. I decided on the Panasonic because it was significantly less expensive. I have only had for two days now so I can't give you an actual review yet because I am still in the learning mode to get the picture quality settings just right. Hope this helps. BTW: the Panasonic unit is deeply discounted by several web dealers. I saved over $440.00 even after having it shipped from NY to CA. as compared to the best price I could get locally.
