Connecting your DVD player, TV & Hi-Fi. What's best?

Hi,
I've just bought a Hitachi C32WF727N TV and a Denon AV-F100 AV system.

I'd like to know the best way of hooking the DVD player up to the TV. I've heard that RGB scart is the preferred method, but the Denon doesn't have an RGB output only standard scart or S-Video. The TV supports RGB scart and it has an S-VHS input (I presume this is the same as S-Video?), but the socket is on the front of the TV which isn't ideal.

What I'd like to do would be to purchase a S-Video to scart lead (so I can plug into the back of the TV rather than the front), but I'm concerned that this will not result in the same quality as S-Video to S-Video.

Does anyone know anything about this subject?

Thanks,

Nathan.
